A dive coach is responsible for training and guiding athletes in all aspects of competitive diving, including proper technique. Design practice plans to improve strength, flexibility, precision, and consistency, while emphasizing safety and injury prevention. Analyzes performance, provides feedback, and develops competition strategies to help divers reach their goals. They also mentor athletes in sportsmanship, focus, and mental preparation, supervise practices and meets, and coordinate with parents, team staff, and program administration to ensure a well-organized and supportive diving program.
