The Lake Club in Wilton is seeking an assistant water polo coach for the summer 2026 season.

The assistant water polo coach is responsible for attending 10/u and 11/o water polo practices, pre-team practices, games and aquatics teams events.

The assistant water polo coach will work alongside the head polo coach to teach and mentor young polo players of varying ages and ability levels, creating fun, meaningful practices and events as well as managing and coaching players in games.

The season begins in early June and concludes in mid-August. Practices are typically run weekdays between 11:00am and 2:30pm, and games are typically run weekdays in the evening from 4:30 to 8:00pm.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm and commitment to working with young polo players regardless of their ability and experience. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and work collaboratively with the head coach, someone who is reliable, communicative and responsible. Water polo experience is required, as assistant coaches will be responsible for teaching proper technique and fostering skill development.

Red Cross Lifeguard Certification will be required prior to the start of the season.
