The club's pool season starts on Saturday, May 25, 2024 and ends on Monday, September 2, 2024. We are flexible with the start date and end date.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

1. Know, follow, and enforce all pool rules, regulations, and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures.
2. Assist the Pool Operations Director in ensuring the club pool facilities are in accordance with the City of Stamford and State of Connecticut pool codes and health department regulations. This may include water testing, pool vacuuming, deck power washing, equipment and furniture cleaning, etc.
3. Communicate effectively with Pool Operations Director, General Manager, and other lifeguards concerning all pool issues and/or needs.
4. Administer proper first aid in accordance with training and club procedures.
5. Help maintain a clean pool and pool deck area.
6. Assist with setting up for special events, and cleaning up after event is over.
7. Greet members at pool front desk as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. Current Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, and AED certification as of May 15, 2024.
2. Knowledge of water safety principals and emergency procedures.
3. Strong swimming skills.
4. Lifeguard experience at a club or aquatics facility a plus.
