Additional information about this job:POSITION OBJECTIVES:
Assist the Head Water Polo Coach with day to day running of a successful water polo team including but not limited to; attend all water polo practices, games, and tournaments, assist coaching water polo practices, games, and tournaments, and attending all gator team functions, and any other duties required by the Head Water Polo Coach or Aquatics Director.
SUMMARY REQUIREMENTS:
Must have current Red Cross Lifeguard Certificate Must possess excellent communications skills Must have problem-solving abilities, be self-motivated and organized A positive attitude while encouraging inclusiveness among all water polo participants Prior experience coaching/ playing water polo The above list of essential job functions describes the general nature and level of work being performed in this job. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Promote the Gator Water Polo team to the membership To arrive on time and ready to jump into the pool when necessary Ability to work under wet, hot, and humid conditions Attend all water polo practices, games, and tournaments Attend weekly Aquatic Meetings with Aquatics Director & Aquatic Coaches Be in accordance with the FCSL code of conduct in all meets and counties Keep attendance of participants for practices, games, and tournaments Ensuring all Water Polo equipment is stored safely and dried, and inventoried Carry out any other tasks as designated by the Head Water Polo Coach or Aquatics Director INCIDENTAL DUTIES
Operate under the GCC Standards Maintain a culture of learning and team growth Achieve yearly objectives set forth by the Aquatics Director
