USAWP updated their competition rules in recent years.
FCSL Water Polo follows updated USAWP Rules, but subject to the following:
FCSL Water Polo Rules
RULES CLARIFICATIONS (2023):
ONLY at the Senior level:
FCSL allows immediate shots or shots after a ball is put in play on fouls that occur outside the 6M line. NOT allowed in the other age groups.
AT ANY age group level (Mini, Junior, Senior):
FCSL does NOT allow a shot after the ball is put into play (without passing to another player) at free throws taken at the 2M line.
FCSL does NOT incorporate the “touch and go exclusions” at any age group.
All exclusions are 20 seconds or immediately after a change of possession or goal.
PENALTY ZONE starts at 6M line, not the 5M line.
The only reason for the 5M line is that is where penalty throws are taken from.

NOTE: Only FCSL Division 3 clubs with all 3 age groups playing can gain promotion to Division 2 if they have the best record in D3
NB: To change/correct/update FCSL WP games divisional game schedule :
BOTH clubs' Swim/WP Chair must notify webmaster@fcsl.info to update the dual games schedule as posted.
Also notify Paul Ramaley, WP Coaches Rep. regarding the WP Referees Assignments in case of any changes!

for 2025 Division 1 games if CHAIR for BOTH teams agree.

D3 ROCK B have Mini, & Jr only

WAV vs MILB rescheduled for July 16
ROTP vs NCFC rescheduled to Jul 23, 6pm Jrs + 5pm Mini scrimmage
INAR vs RYC rescheduled to Jul 28.
